    Energy efficience appliances save you money by using less electricity and water than other appliances. Better appliance energy efficiency comes from quality materials and technologically advanced materials.
       The energy we use in our homes comes from power plants, which burn fossil fuel to power our electric products. Burning fossil fuels causes air pollution and contributes to smog, acid rain and global warming.
       Energy conservation is reducing or going without a service to save energy.
For example: Turning off a light is energy conservation. Replacing an incandescent lamp (which uses much less energy to produce the same amount of light) is energy efficiency.
Both efficiency and conservation can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

    Reducing GHGs substantially—enough to slow down climate change—will require many different approaches, including both energy efficiency and renewable energy, carbon-neutral transportation fuels, and possibly storing GHG emissions safely away from the atmosphere.
      Energy is the ability to change or move matter. Energy efficiency means changing or moving the MOST matter with the LEAST amount of energy.

"Tapped"..

         Well yesturday we started to see a movie called Tapped. The movie is mainly about water, the movie Tapped was good because it showed us about water bottles and  how they do them, well then the movie showed us that almost never we could trust on water bottled or water that you are taking or drinking. The movie Tapped also showed us that water could also be bad for you and your family.
also taught us that we must resicle and care for the planet not just for as but for the animals we need to take care of them too, also because we decerve to live clean in this plant such asthe animals. So when you throw something tried that it goes in the trash also to throw trash in the ocean can affect animasles goldfishes and the things that live in the ocean or below the sea because if you throw trash in the ocean then the goldfishes are not going to be able to swim well they are not going to have thir liverty. so when you drink water in a water bottle just think about what can couse you by drinking that and that is not alwais safty to drink of water bottles. Then think about recicling and about the thing that live in the ocean..

WTR Conservation..

    What everyone is wondering about is why we should conserve or care about water.?
We must conserve water because it is the most important thing we have, water is something we need to live.Water is important to all of us, because it help us to plant plants so they can grow fast and healthy because like us they need water so they can grow stronger and give us food to eat.
   If we dont care about water now then when..?
In the future we are not going to have water to drink or to use. We realy should care about water now..!
 

    The way we can conserve water is by not wasting that much water. A way we can conserve water is not spending a lot of water, like when washing dishes we can use as little as we can, also washing the car just use what is necessary or take the minimum, just use what is necessary and dont waisted. We should love water, water is live for all of us..!!

    In my opinion I said that yes, biofuels impact food production because if it turnes to a fuel than we are not going to get food or able to production or grow food. By using biofuels, like biofuels come from the plants that we grow we can get bacteria and be sick.

   In one study, it said that biofuels realise roughly as much carbon dioxide when burnt as regular gasoline or diesel. But since biofuels crops also sook up carbon dioxide as they grow, they reduce overall emissions as the comparation as fossil fuel.
    Some articles sed that biofuels are good but other sed, that no, same help but other don.t other said that ethanol is often touted as a cleaner- burning gasoline atternative that lessens dependence on oil, biofuel has a large amount of possil fuels some are required to farm and refine it.
   Biofuels impact food producton, is saids that in poor sections of communities across the world by affectting food supply and price.

Pesticides..

      Pesticides are chemicals used to eliminate or control some of te agricultors pests that can damage crops and reduce farm productivity. The most used is insectocides. Many pesticides are known to cause poisoning and damaging the nervous system and potentially cause cancer. We all know that pesticides are dangerous to humans some people cary pesticides in their body..

Feeding The WORLD....

    ~Why is it more food on less land..??
Its more food on less land becouse the farmers feed the people and because farmers grow food for the people....
     ~Why less water should be used..??
 Less water should be used because we are using a lot of water and wastinit too. We should used less water because we need to thing about the future people.
    ~Why fewer chemicals and fertilizer should be used..??
 We have more toxic chemicals in our houses, we need to reduce them because there dangeres for use there dad and they can produce a lot of diseases.
  ~Why it must be done cheaply..??
 It must be done cheaply because we used food and half of that food is wasted or trown away, we need to do it more chaply because we are spending a lot of many like crazy we are not thinking about the future or the future people.
            

        Yes i agree because i think that we are spending a lot of money and weisting too mach water. We need to do it more cheaply for the people or for the future of all of us, and to fewer chemicals and fertilizer to help as for the future and the earth.  

Lab exp.. Porosity and Permeability..

 Porosity is space between and permeability is rate of flow. Both are like the same because both have to do with the lab or the experiment. we used Porosity and permeability for the lab because we needed to know how faster and slower was the water flowing and the space between the sediment type, obviously the fastes was gravel because when we put the gravel in the tube there were spaces between because there were rocks..
